Ideal cutting option for experts and amateurs in woodworking. These router bits have two straight flutes and TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped), also known as HM (Hard Metal), cutting blades. With this cutting-edge technology, extended bit life is guaranteed, and diverse types of timber are cut cleanly and smoothly.
Our TCT straight bits have been engineered to give superb finishing performance and have an exceptional lifespan.
Tips to get a better processing performance when machining double veneer materials:
1. Tool selection: A tool fit for processing wood must be chosen since the double veneer's surface is coated with thin wood or wood grain. Planers, planers, abrasives, and other sharp tools for woodworking are frequently used.
2. Tool wear: Because the double veneer's surface is a thin wood veneer, the tool's sharpness will have an impact on the processing quality. To prevent uneven cuts or shattered thin wood surfaces, keep the blades sharp and check and grind them frequently.
3. Milling speed and feed rate: should be managed when milling the tool to prevent cutting issues brought on by going too quickly or going too slowly. A processing speed that is both too quick and too slow can result in the burning of the wood's surface.
4. Cutting direction: The cutting direction should be taken into consideration when cutting double veneer material.
5. Treatment of the adhesive layer: The double veneer material's core is constructed of glue-bonded particle board and other materials; if the adhesive layer is cut during processing, this could lead to tool adhesion or damage, so take care to avoid cutting too deeply.
6. Take preventative precautions, such as making sure processing is done safely and wearing gloves and safety eyewear to stop flying wood chips or other debris from hurting workers.
7. Material selection: Choose the best double veneer material for the particular processing task. Reasonable decisions must be made in accordance with the processing requirements because different wood veneers may have varying hardness and properties.
