The Horizontal Ploughshare Mixer is a single-shaft forced mixing marvel, armed with multiple sets of ploughshare agitators. These agitators are strategically staggered and continuously installed to eliminate mixing dead spots, ensuring thorough and uniform blending. During operation, the staggered ploughs generate a dynamic vortex of centrifugal forces, creating overlapping and scattering material flows. This results in a boiling and convective circulation that rapidly and efficiently mixes all materials.
For cohesive materials such as fibers, damp clumps, or liquid-aggregated powders, our mixer features high-speed choppers placed at a 45-degree downward angle on the mixer drum's side. The chopper blades penetrate the drum, with materials driven by the ploughshares entering the effective range of the choppers. This results in high-speed shearing that efficiently de-agglomerates and separates the materials, ensuring optimal mixing quality.
